Perfect solution
Having had my open bin grinning at me from the corner of the kitchen for quite a while, I was delighted to find this innovative yet simple solution. This is an excellent example of what 3-D printing can do :-)My bin lid now closes perfectly and then pops up with a single touch just like it did before the spiggot got broken off.

Bad quality and terrible customer support.
Received on of these, the plastic was all distorted unlike the product picture. Contacted binclips customer service as they suggest , they said they would send a replacement and they never did. I sent four emails to which they never replied.Bad quality and terrible customer service.

Absolutely Brilliant Product
The catch on the soft touch lid on my Brabantia bin broke off. Looked at replacing the lid and was shocked that it was £70 and a complete new bin was more than £100. I saw this replacement catch and was pretty sure it would not work but for around 7 pounds, though it was worth a shot. It took about a minute to fit and I secured it with a blob of glue (not really needed as it clips on) and the touch bin lid is now perfect and functions as normal. What a genius little fix and thank you to the company. In 20 years on Amazon I have never written a review - but this is just a little bit of genius!

Useful but not cheap
Great idea when the bun catches fail and saves you buying a new bin. It’s quite expensive for what it is though.

Great little innovation
Problem - broken striker on Brabantia bid lid. You can only keep using a weight from the kitchen scales to hold it closed for so long....Solution 1 Buy a new lid from Brabantia at a cost of £40'ish.Solution 2 Use this little gem and after a spot of sanding and a dab of hot-melt glue you're sorted.Brilliant

Two different catches
You get two different catches. One works perfectly on bin the other is two short. Had to cut a little excess of existing bin so the slotted section fitted over lip. Where the existing catch had broken off this left a lump so this is the bit I had to cut off. Easily broken if scraping food off a plate with knife. Daughter broke first one.

Replacement Brabantia bin lid clip
Lasted less than 2 weeks. Piece of rubbish… pardon the pun. Waste of money.
