You can use lots of different scents and we like our colors: popular colors https://amzn.to/3lO87OR and primary colors: https://amzn.to/36UahXb because they mix well as liquids and make really nice colors, and it only takes a very little bit of color. You can also add other things: I've heard adding a little cornmeal or a touch of peanut butter works for some, but every angler has a little secret sauce (like a little soy sauce?) thank you! Stan

Q: What are the shapes of the molds? Craws

This kit allows you to make your own molds using a re-usable molding putty. The shapes that come with the kit are basic shapes including several heads, bodies, and tails that you can mix and match (and glue) together to make a variety of different lure forms, but this is just the beginning. You can use carved wood, polymer clay, or other shapes to create your own unique lures including craws. The advantage of this kit it is allows to create your own, cool lure shapes. Hopefully, that helps.

Q: Has anyone made this using food coloring to add colors?

Because the rubber in this kit is a super soft/pliable silicone, the food coloring, which is water based, typically won't mix into the rubber well...it will make cool little droplets and lines, so it might make an interesting affect, but there are better colorants...we do sell colorants available through Amazon (epoxycolors at https://amzn.to/3CViFpw) and these work really well with the soft bait lure rubber. You can also add powders,...and other things like glitter can also be added. Thank you! Stan from ComposiMold
