We have had several of these, one of which we have lent to people, whose stove stopped working. She was delighted to have it. It satisfied her short term use very well.Yes, I have had to reconnect some of the elements inside to have them work right, but it was a minor fix, and my fix has made it work great every time since then.The factory might have done a slightly better job of making sure all the connections inside were well seated, but we use ours all the time--so convenient to use it rather than our big stove for minor cooking needs.
