Husband got these for me for my pantry closet to give me extra storage. They installed easy, look decent, and most importantly, hold about 300 lbs of weight (provided you install them correctly and tie into the studs in your walls). They've worked great for getting the infrequently used, bulky small appliances out of the way, as well as larger storage canisters. They also come with generously sized hooks, so you can hang things from the rack itself (I've used them for pots and pans, my broom, aprons, etc.). Very well-made shelves for the prices.

The material these shelves are made of is very nice and sturdy. The shelves come with an awesome template and level which makes it easy to install and make sure all of the shelves are level all the way across the wall. All you need to install these shelves is a drill gun and a wrench (preferably a socket wrench). The rest comes in the packaging. The brackets are heavy and solid along with the racks that it comes with. In the template it gives you an option for different spacing for the studs in the wall and has three holes to pre-drill into the Stud to make it easy to screw the heavy duty screws in that it comes with. When you put the wracks in their slots in the brackets, there is also Velcro strips to help hold the shelves in the slot you put them in.These shelves are so easy to put together and hang! I would also say it is extremely tiring hanging them due to holding the bracket up and screwing the screws in but I also didn’t have the best angle due to all of the things already in my garage nor did I have help. As you can see in the photos I am hanging from them and they did not budge.I never have had enough storage in our house so the excess goes to the garage and since I have these shelves now it makes it easy to store things off of the floor and keep it way more organized.I would highly recommend these shelves to anyone and needs a little help organizing their garage.

While I've given this set of metal shelves 4 stars, I should say that I'm quite satisfied with them and would purchase them again. They use three chunky lag bolts on each brace, so the shelving is very firmly attached to the wall studs. The shelves sit in three grooves on each brace. The shelves are kept from popping out of the grooves (though hard to imagine a scenario where they would) with two velcro straps. I'm not so keen on the velcro straps, but they serve the purpose; and in any case, as long as you have something on the shelves, they're not likely to go anywhere. This was very easy to install. The instructions say that a minimum of two people are required for the installation. I'm a small woman and had no trouble installing them by myself. Just FYI, I used a 13/64 drill bit and a 13mm socket wrench. These particular shelves have the virtue of being attached to the brackets anywhere along the shelves. It may be best if shelving can be centered over the two brackets, but my set up didn't allow for that--which is what attracted me to these shelves. There are lots of large hooks that are very handy. The hooks do not attach securely to the shelves and I suspect will come off as soon as I lift whatever is hanging on them. I will probably take some vice grips and close the top part of the hook around a shelving rail so it won't do that. I've taken off one star because of (a) the way the hooks attach (or rather, fail to attach) and (b) the use of a velcro strap to secure the shelves to the brackets. Even so, it's a fine set of shelves, and I really appreciate having all of those large capacity hooks. I've included a picture, in which the two bottom shelves on the left are of this particular shelving unit with which I've used 7 of the 8 provided hooks.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It seems that my shed is becoming filled with things that I need to get off the floor. Admittedly, not everything in there is mine, but kids never have space of their own.These were not difficult to install, but it does require a bit of thinking on the front end.. I initially had the ides that the support brackets needed to be installed to support the end of the shelves, and that of course did not work because the brackets are too wide to install side-by-side on a single wall stud. Once I had the mental picture, it went quickly.They are well built and well designed for this purpose. Do not forget to lash them down to the support brackets. They provide velcro straps but they are a clumsy way to do this. I used zip ties. Run them through the bottom rods of the shelves and then through one of the brackets cut out.

I purchased these back in 2020, and the 24-inch-by-72-inch shelving has been the best thing I could have done for my garage. I always receive compliments on the shelving, and they truly hold a lot of weight. I have eight in my garage. I have provided friends with the Amazon link ever since, but have never actually written a review. Very easy to install, but you will need help because they are heavy for one person. I had my dad help me, and we had a great afternoon putting these up with much laughter! I also purchased the Fleximount storage rail hooks, and I have bikes stored on the shelving, along with hiking gear, etc. BEST purchase I could have made and have enjoyed having a clean, well-organized garage since 2020!
