Perfect for adding CarPlay
Kit came with everything required even a generous amount of foam pads to wrap the old connectors to stop them rattling in dash.Breeze to install following instructions and works perfectly.Fortunately my software was already up to date enough a manual update was not required.Installed in a 2016 M6

Works a treat
This Apple CarPlay/Android Auto hub works perfectly. It seems to be of very good quality and fits in the car like its original equipment. Everything you need is included in the box with clear instructions on cable routing and connections. Make sure all connectors are pushed firmly home, check twice! I learned the hard way. I am really pleased with this purchase, and now have fully functioning CarPlay in my car. For the money, you can’t go wrong. As long as you follow instructions (YouTube) when installing in your car, you’ll be pleased too

Didnt work for mazda CX-3 (SEE EDITED)
Bought for a Mazda CX-3, firstly it stopped my built in navigation working but i wasnt to bothered by that since i could now just use carplay… or so i thought. After a month of it being installed my phone would only stay connected for a maximum of ten minutes and then not work until the car was turned of and on again. Tried many ways to troubleshoot and correct with no luck. Reached out to the company but wont do nothing because it was sold via amazonEDIT: company reached out to me after posting this review and suggested fixes i had already tried, they sent me a new unit which arrived nice, quickly and at no extra cost to me. I have installed the new USB hub and cables and everything is working as it should be now! built in navigation has returned and car play is working fantastic with no disconnections. with everything working now changed from 1 star to 5 star. cant thank CarABC enough for sorting this issue as i was bit annoyed as anyone would beEDIT AGAIN: after reinstalling new USB hub once again, after another month of use with no issues, i have driven my car today to find it will not connect to my phone at all now. Cant even detect the usb is connected, tried three different cables. After many issues before i thought i had a faulty, box but apparently my car just doesn’t want car play to work at all so will not be trying fix this yet again. I give up

Good Android Auto USB hub for Mazda
Installed it and it fitted perfectly fine, the cables are genuine, the hub is aftermarket but made probably at the same factory cause inside it is exactly the same as genuine one sold from Mazda for 3x the price. Everything included, replacement cables, sponge adhesive same as from Mazda dealer. It is easy to install, just plan and place the cable properly, there's a good manual on Mazda website under Accessories. Everything work as intended.Done it on Mazda 3 2017 and Mazda 2 2015.Happy and would buy another if needed.

works well, easy to install if you have a spare hour
Works as expected (although not touchscreen for Android Auto).Having the foam tape will really help with rattles, or lack thereof.Installation was easy, although quite convoluted. Plenty of videos online, but you have to remove a lot of trim. I used a cheap pry tool and had no issues - you can probably do it without a tool but I didn't want to risk breaking any tabs. I was very slow and cautious and was done within an hour.New USB ports are also higher amperage than the original, which is a great feature in itself (no more slow charging!)Much cheaper than getting Mazda to do it for you (I think I was quoted over £500)

Works for Apple Carplay as wanted
My main problem with this is that the unit does not read the SD card for the inbuilt Sat Nav. On the whole not concerning as the mobile provides maps, but potentially a problem at some time in the future if out of signal range or similar.I do not know if it is just a faulty unit or something that is common.Otherwise the instructions provided were clear and installation was easy enough provided you are prepared to take the car apart by removing trims etc (I would certainly recommend purchasing trim removal tools to reduce the risk of damage) and also a decent socket set is required as the main head unit is firmly attached with a bolt and is difficult to get to. You will not be able to install this without removing that bolt.

Fitted to my 2014 M3, works just fine. No issues so far (3 mths in), easy to fit using instructions and UTub vids. Just remember all the warnings about firmware updates and no bluetooth connectivity (cable only for this)
