This is a cool little RC sub, it's not that easy to control and it's only really suitable for the bath or a paddling pool. Good fun though.

Looks really cool and I'm sure if gifting this, the recipient would be excited looking at through the plastic case. You need a screwdriver to detach the submarine from the carry case, and you'll need one to insert two AAA batteries which were not included.The submarine doesn't have an on switch, it activates when placed into water. The remote control unit is very small and quite hard to use. To make the submarine "sink" you use the tiny buttons at the top which use a motor to push it down, as soon as you let go it will start rising.I found it struggles to maintain a straight line, I think the motors are not balanced and one is slightly more powerful making it turn. I tried adjusting the little rudder towards one side and that did work for a bit and help it stay straight.For a novelty toy it works fine but it would be very frustrating for anyone who enjoys RC models, simply goes around in circles! Ether way could be a great gift for someone into submarines and the little mount make's it look good in the display case when not using.
