Pocket Medicine (Pocket Notebook Series)

Great resource!

It is a great reference guide with easy access to essential information. The size is perfect to even carry in your White Coat pocket. The characters are a little too small because it is a small sized book but that's fine.

This is a necessary tool for not only new medical providers but a great quick resource for experienced providers to quickly review. Very helpful and a great gift as well.

Pros : 1. Really nice and helpful pocket reference book.2. Offers fast and easy access to essential information on the most common disorders.Cons: : 1. As a small sized book, character sizes are also too small for easy reading.2. I bought a loose leaf book. Papers are too thin and weak. Possibility of easy tearing at hole side.

This is great but it is a lot of pages/detailed information so not a quick reference but still useful in the fact that it’s basically a mini textbook. Only real con is that sometimes its a journey to try and find topics—not clearly organized

I got this book during my Internal Medicine rotation and it has been my holy grail. Use it while studying and keep it on me during rounds. I have impressed many attendings with my medical knowledge thanks to this book.
