Pleasantly surprised at the size! Makes huge lovely 2-1/2 to 3 inch roses. It is metal yet with a lot of pressure this item could potentially bend a little. However, with proper use, there should be no problems with bending. It is definitely worth purchasing particularly if you desire VERY large buttercream roses!

Make sure you want a GIANT size tip
I didn’t realize I got the “giant” size. Not sure I’ll have a use for this size but it’s fine otherwise. That was my mistake in ordering though.

Large base, no coupler fits it?
Can’t find a coupler to fit this? The large couple doesn’t fit, it’s too small. Also, this is the second one I received as a free replacement, the first one arrived pinched in half…could have been packaged better.

Perfect tip for beautiful buttercream effects
This tip was perfect for the large petal like ruffles I needed for decorating a wedding cake and I have since used it to create a beautiful wave like effect around a beach themed cake.(See pic.)The tip is very large and will not fit in a coupler, and you will likely want to order at least the 16" decorator bags as the 12" are just too short.I haven't used it to make actual roses yet, however since the tip is shaped exactly as the smaller rose petal tips, I see no reason it shouldn't make those well also.
