Reduces redness
I’ve been using this product for a few weeks now. It comes in a glass bottle with a pump. One pump was sufficient to apply all over the face. The consistency is nice and applies smoothly and sinks into the skin. I can confirm that I noticed a difference pretty quickly. I have acne rosacea. Although it doesnt prevent the acne lesions from appearing, it does however reduce the redness significantly, which other products have not been able to do in the past. It also brightens the complexion and heals acne lesion faster. I have pretty sensitive skin and noticed a slight tingling on application which quickly subsided as well as some extra peeling dry skin. This subsided over a few uses. Overall, I personally feel that it may not be a cure for rosacea but may be a great product for flare ups and controlling some aspects of this condition. Nonetheless, this product will remain a staple in my skincare and will definitely be purchasing again.

Works very well to remove spots
This is excellent for getting rid of small spots under the skin. I use sunscreen the next day as it's a mild skin peel.

Game Changer
TLDR: this product tightened my pores, reduced redness, reduced amount of cystic acne but also made the spots more superficial. Reduced post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. My skin became smoother so moisturiser and makeup sits better. Product is basically scentless. When first using this it did make my skin tingle, and sometimes I do still get slightly itchy/dry eyelids and lips despite avoiding these areas because the product can travel. But gradually build up as they recommend and your skin will grow tolerance. The only thing that knocks a star is the packaging. The pump is TERRIBLE. I don’t know if I just had a bad bottle but it seemed to take millions of pumps just to get a tiny amount out. In the end I had to screw it off and pour it out which made it run out quicker. So product - excellent. Packaging needs improving.CONTEXT FOR REVIEW :A brief history of my skin troubles… hormonal cystic acne since I was 13 y.o. Awkward skin type - acne prone and oily but very easily becomes extremely dry which worsens the acne. Previously had prescribed acne treatment (antibiotics which stopped working then topical) which were effective but dried my skin out so I stopped about a year ago. Inevitably acne came back. Had used lactic acid 5% for a while which had benefits but didn’t deal with the cystic acne. Swapped to salicylic acid which seemed to make everything worse even after the purge phase. First pictures are from that time… red, angry, seemingly producing MORE sebum.Cut to two months of using this product… tighter pores, hugely reduced redness. Spots are more superficial now and I rarely get cysts. I use twice a day, once in the morning along with niacinimide toner, another facetheory product (the encapsulated retinol) and a repair/recovery serum. Spf50 moisturiser. Then in the evening toner, this product, salicylic acid, repair serum and an evening serum usually hyaluronic acid based. Obviously with my skin issues my skin has grown a lot of tolerance to these combinations so I would only recommend this routine to people with similar struggles. If you haven’t tried Azelaic acid yet please do, it really does make a difference.

Great serum ! Helps with my acne.
Great serum. It helps a lot to my acne and red spot. Indeed it dried a little bit my skin but it does the job. I buy a serum foundation to hidratate my skin on all this time and it was ok. Quite expensive but it last me long time.

Visible results pretty quick
Was sceptical - I've tried every anti-redness, anti-acne, blah blah blah lotion and potion out there, but with all the reviews specifically mentioning rosacea, I thought I'd give it a go. I'm so pleased with the results! It hasn't manifested the gloriously clear skin of my dreams, but it's reduced redness in my face so much that I can go bare faced and not be conscious of how inflamed and sore my skin looks.I've never been able to figure out my skin type, and the idea of calling anything to do with my skincare a "routine" is laughable, so I'm absolutely delighted that I haven't had to add some exhaustive layering process to my normal splash-and-go. I use this and facetheory's Supergel Moisturiser because I read that this serum is very drying, and I've had exactly the opposite of problems.

No effect on redness caused by rosacea
I bought this product with high expectations (based on the Amazon reviews) that it would reduce the redness caused by my rosacea. After 2 weeks of using the product it's had no effect at all. Then when I researched other reviews its benefit was inconsistent. What this demonstrates is that there's not one universal solution for the redness caused by rosacea, what works for some doesn't work for others

Really works for me
I used to use dermatica and they seemed to discontinue their version of azelaic acid. In a panic I found this, not as strong concentration but thought I'd give it a go. After 6 weeks it still seems to work well on my skin. Very rarely get spots, despite oily skin. I've bought more and I'll keep using it. The only issue is the pump isn't very effective once it gets about half empty. I end up unscrewing the whole thing and dabbing it on my finger to apply.
