Works with hubby's Norelco Arcitec 1050X
I ordered this to replace the splitting insulation on the original cord (+10 yrs old?), and received it within 2 days. It was confusing to know whether this replacement cord was compatible, since the back of the razor, said to use an "8500X" type plug, and this one says "8500"--I think this is a reference to the shape of either ends of the cord's plugs. This cord plugged into the razor (albeit tightly) and lit up the Norelco, so it was feeding the razor charge. The new cord is similar to the original in thickness/fragility and length. I expect it'll start splitting after a few years, too. It's fairly inexpensive (though with taxes/shipping, it came out to 2x+, for the total cost). I'm the type to buy/try a single item to make sure it works, then consider buying a few more for the future; all my husband's Norelco shavers last forever, but it's a bear to find replacement heads/cords after a few years. I think I'll add a few more reorders of this, if this cord lasts at least 2 years.

permanantly BROKE my PN clippers within a few minutes of plugging it in the first time
Oooh I'm so mad at this thing! I lost the original charger for my PN clippers, so I bought this one. I plugged it in once, and it lit up like it was charging. A few minutes later, the ""charging"" light went out. I unplugged it and tried it. Dead. I plugged it back in. No charge light. I even bought another identical model of PN clippers and used the authentic cord to try to charge the old clippers...still dead. I'm glad it was returnable, however, I can't find it...I think I threw it in the garbage in a blind rage or something 😅I do not recommend this product to anyone. Wish they'd reimburse me for the $60 clippers it destroyed, rather than the $6 that the charger cost, but of course that's not really a thing anyone does.

Exact Fit and Quality Material
Works just like my original charger. The cord that charges the electric shaver is actually better and softer than the original. Great purchase.
