Extremely FUN Boss Pedal
Amazing!! A pleasant surprise. Infinite modulating fun for the rest of my life. Highly recommend if you are into guitar pedals. There is also standard tremolo on the slicer. I think it’s an incredible pedal. Extremely fun. I also use it for a backbeat which I loop and then solo over that.

Fun glitchy trem pedal
Great pedal for experimenting and having fun, can use it in a multitude of usable ways. Right now I have it as the final pedal in my chain, with a Keeley Synth-1 first, a DIRT, a Maxon CS-9 Pro, and a Fathom, and having a blast with those combinations of pedals. It's got some very usable patterns, and all the functions and features on it make it worth it, especially the addition of a mini midi jack, but you can also use a tap tempo probably to sync on the fly with a live drummer- or use the midi to sync to a DAW tempo and then utilize an expression.

Larger than life
Has more than I need sometimes I wonder who would need this sound but options are there. The sounds I use it for I Love!

Great pedal, but software is lacking
I've always been fond of the 'slicer' rhythmic effect, and oddly, Roland/Boss seem to be the only ones that offer it. Some variation of this effect can be found on some Roland synths and Boss multi-effects pedals, but it's good to finally have it as the sole effect on a dedicated pedal.I love that it is has a small footprint yet has 1/4" mono/stereo inputs and outputs. Two things to note, though:1) Since the pedal is small, the adjustment knobs are also pretty small. If you have big paws, noodling around with the controls might be awkward.2) Boss offers a 'Tone Studio' software application for this pedal, but it's basically a librarian/transfer software only. Amazingly, they DIDN'T include the ability to create your own slicer patterns with this app (at least of this writing). There IS a free web based app that someone independently designed (THANKS!) that allows you to do this, but you can't preview your pattern changes immediately - you still have to import the pattern file to the pedal and check it there. :(

love it or hate it.
This is one of those effect pedals that you will either love, or hate. It feels a little like a one trick pony, but it's a real fun trick. It can start to sound a little samey after a while, but chaining it with some other pedals can provide for hours of fun exploration.

The stomp box for keyboardists
Put your synth through it in stereo. Dial the tempo in or--better yet--have it MIDI clock sync'ed for tempo. Pull up a pad.Instant party! Everything from Baba O'Riley to Kraftwerk is in here if you dig deep enough. Hint: explore the "hidden" stereo options mentioned in the manual that require following odd procedures to enable. Very highly recommended!

Me encantó!
Es una locura escuchar las posibilidades sonoras de este pedal! Qué efectos más dinámicos e imprevistos. Lo uso con guitarra y sintetizadores, muy recomendable para música electrónica
