Excellent results
This is much better than other keratin treatments in the past. Does not smell bad, does not burn. Most importantly it did NOT turn my wife's hair yellow like a different brand did. Here are the steps that I followed on my wife:Wash 2-3 timesBlow dry completely dryDivide hair into 4 sectionsPut product on 1 cm from root in small sub sections in each quarter (brush and comb it through)Leave solution on hair for 30 minutesBlow product dry on medium heatHair should be 100% dryDivide hair into 4 sectionsUse flat iron on 390 degrees and straightening comb to pull through all the hair10 passes on small sections within the quarter sectionPull straight out from scalp to get closer to scalp and get the kinks out close to scalp.

This Product Worked Well For My Type of Hair
Complex Brazilian Keratin Hair Blowout Treatment really worked for me. I purchased it several months ago and I was very skeptical to try it. I thought it would not work or that it would be difficult to do the treatment myself. I have fine, wavy hair and because I'm aging (I'm 54), there is less hair on top of my scalp now. I don't get pretty curls or waves when my hair dries naturally. I get thin frizzy waves. Going to the beach, or being in humid weather is awful. It curls up in weird ways. So, I decided to try this since I tend to do the Brazilian Blow Outs pretty regularly. I wanted to see if I could save some cash with something that worked for others. I'm really glad I tried it as it did soften and relax my hair to the point where it did not curl up weird. This product will not leave your hair stick straight though. It also contains formaldehyde which some people are concerned about. The amounts are not high enough to deregulate though. Here's what I did: I washed my hair twice with the clarifying shampoo and followed the instructions. I wore a disposable face mask and gloves. I used a brush and worked the product through my hair, one small piece at a time from root through ends (do not apply to the point where it is dripping as it will coat the hair heavily and you'll end up with oily looking hair). I followed as instructed and left it on the required length of time. IMPORTANT: Because this product contains formaldehyde and other chemicals (any liquid that straightens hair is a chemical) you will need to heat your hair in an area that is well ventilated. I used a fan to blow the fumes out of my slider window. Do this when you begin to blow-dry the hair and flat iron it. The fumes are strong and burn your eyes. Also, you will need a second mirror to see the back of your heat to ensure you are taking the bend out of the hair there (cow licks) appropriately and uniformly around that part of your head. This is very important because you do not want some of your hair flat and other parts wavy when this dries. Flat iron in the direction that you normally style and give yourself a little gentle curve where you think you normally like so it's not sticking straight at the ends. I did not flat iron the top of my hair as many times as I did the back because I have less hair there and I did want to leave some body on the top. Leave the product in once you're done. I left it in about two hours before washing because I was going out that night. I think next time I use this I will leave it on a lot longer. They recommend at least three hours or even overnight. Nice results. Not stick straight but not wavy. It's been about a month since I used it and my hair is still manageable, noticeably flatter, but there is a bit of body too. It dries much quicker too and even though I still have to flat iron a bit, it's not at the higher temperature setting. I find that 360 degrees does the trick where before it was at 400 degrees. Not good to do that high ever. I would say this product worked very well for me. It's not as strong as the Brazilian Blowout but I also don't feel that it was not effective. It was effective, and it only cost a fraction of what the Brazilian Blowout costs me. I would buy this again.

Definitely works
Ok, so, I honestly wasn't really expecting much from this stuff. So, first, the bottle of shampoo is way more than enough, I washed twice and still have plenty left. The treatment itself is enough for one to two treatments, depending on length. My hair is about bra strap length. Now, as far as the application goes, if you can donit outside, I highly recommend doing so. It probably will burn your throat a tiny bit or make your eyes water. Keep it away from your face if possible. I used a full length mirror and sat on on my back patio. It took me about 3 hours to properly apply and i waited 3 days before washing. Here's the steps I used and it definitely worked:1. Wash thoroughly clarifying shampoo, TWICE2. Dry hair all the way, do NOT add any products to gain before drying3. Section hair into small sections.4. Apply product to each section and use fine comb to ensure hair is coated, but not saturated. I used a bowl and dye application brush for this step. Don't rush this step. Unlike hair dye, this will stay in your hair for days, so take your time on this step. Don't apply to your scalp purposely, but I didn't get any irritation where I did get it on my scalp.5. After applying product to all of your hair, blow dry again. It's going to feel crappy, sticky and like drying with a bunch of product on your hair. Just do small sections, dry and comb/brush. I probably applied too much product because during this step, I had a lot of white flaky residue.6. Section hair again and flat iron each section thoroughly with a flat iron that is heated to 450F. Do not bend or crease hair in any way after flat ironing. Use a heat glove and make 6-10 passes for each section. If you are afraid to use that much heat at once, do your whole head with 3-4 passes and then do it again. The high heat and lots of passes is the key to bonding the keratin to your hair.7. The laborious part of the application is complete. For the next 3-4 days, keep hair down and straight and keep dry at all costs. (Wear a shower cap during showers) Use flat iron here and there over these days on any pieces that get any creases or waves or get damp from washing face or sweating, etc.8. On day 3 or 4 (FINALLY) wash and condition hair with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. Air dry or style as normal and enjoy frizz free hair!!!I have never been able to wash my hair, go to bed and wake up with hair I can just brush and go. I did after doing this treatment and I am HOOKED!! If you're on the fence like I was, go for it.
