Just read this book cover to cover the week before the test and passed Shrm- scp without any other studying. Did the job!

BUY THIS BOOK!!! I took the SHRM-SCP test this past Monday and passed on the first try. So many of the concepts from this book are applied on the test. The book I used to prep for the CP test did not prepare me for it (but luckily I passed since most of the questions are situational). So I was skeptical on if this book would and it did. I would highly recommend. It's also a great book to read and have around for various tips and as a great knowledge base. I bought this book and used PocketPrep to prep for this test, so I spent under $100 and passed. No expensive courses are needed if you have this book!

Very informative. Works alongside the pocketprep app. I used mainly the app, but some info in this book to study, right after getting an HR bachelors degree in December. I passed my SHRM-CP in February.

This was a great book on HR principles but in terms of preparing you for the SHRM -CP exam, this did not help much.I would reccomend making the practice questions (at the end of each chapter) similar to what you’d find on the actual SHRM-CP exam. The questions on the SHRM-CP exam were nothing like the practice questions in this book.

Really great book! I loved it and was jam packed with information!
