I add it to a glass of sparkling water and add 2 tsp. ACV and a teaspoon of lemon juice….

Q: Why proprietary blend? it’s an eaa supplement ? why hide amounts of each eaas

It's a blend of 8 essential amino acids. It claims that the eaa are in the exact porportion the body needs and therefore can be utilized at 99% to support and maintain muscular, skeletal, enzymatic and hormonal systems. I cannot answer why they keep the porportions propriety. It would be a nice suppliment except that I cannot tolerate the aftertaste of the sweetener in the berry flavor. In my opinion, they have overdone the sweetener. I wish they would make an unsweetened flavor for soup or broth.

Q: Is this powder supposed to be used in place of protein powder? Thank you!

Perfect Amino suggests only taking their product without using other muscle-building products; if taking Perfect Amino 100% as they suggest, this should be taken in place of any other products. I will admit that I did take the product as recommended, but after approximately two weeks, I also started taking protein shakes and other products. I still think perfect Amino is a great product.
