Dr PepperDr. Pepper Dessert Topping 12 Oz Bottle

Let me preface this by saying this syrup is delicious. I bought this for my 11 year old son as he loves Dr. Pepper. He thought it was average. We put it on ice cream and he ate it and liked it but hasn't wanted any since. Me, on the other hand, I LOVE it. It tastes just like Dr. Pepper and the cherry comes through. I put it on vanilla bean ice cream and it was a perfect combo (It has to be a good quality ice cream and vanilla bean not French, creamy, classic or any other type of vanilla. Vanilla bean - just my input). It is definitely a unique topping. I could see using it as a drizzle on pastries or other desserts. It is a little thick. It was fine for ice cream but I would thin it out if using it as a thin drizzle. I did place the bottle in very warm water for about 5 minutes, changing the water a few times, and it came out of the bottle in a nice thin drizzle. It would work well to top whipped cream, meringue, pastries. It is pretty sweet so start out light. I personally drench my ice cream in it. It's worth trying out, great gift idea, and worth the price. Only complaint is that it was leaking a bit from the top when I received it. It may need to be packaged better for delivery and/or it may have been the responsibility of the mail handler.

Dr Pepper cherry is absolutely rich and tasty and makes vanilla bean ice cream spectacular. An orgy of flavor in your mouth.

I didn’t taste the cherry which was fine. I bought it for the Dr. Pepper flavor. My problem was that the bottle leaked and made a mess in my bag and floor. I wanted to return or replace it. Instead they refunded me.

This is soooooo awefull !!1. It tastes like caugh syrup, but not the good kind. You know what I mean, there are some out there that taste pretty good but this abomination is hiddious.2. And to top it off, there is a very nasty chemical aftertaste.3. The whole experience taste like chemicals4. And it’s d$^####&#&# expensive too

Perfect for my graduation party

When I tasted the topping I found the flavor very weak for being called Dr. Pepper. I have eight Dr. Pepper caffeine free 20 can packs in my storage room. I have them delivered from WVa. because I can't buy them in Delaware. I have loved Dr. Pepper for more than 40 years so I know what I do and don't like about the taste of Dr. Pepper.
