The best value going in RPG dice with a GREAT dice bag included!
This is the third, and in my opinion, best of the Wiz Dice sets, though they all represent a tremendous value at $1.50 per set (plus you get the nice velvet drawstring bag). Any of the Wiz Dice "Bag of" kits are a superior value to the Skullsplitter "pound" set, which costs the same (but add shipping) and includes fewer dice and a much more basic silkscreened black velvet bag without eyelet gromets. The bag itself is sturdy, it's made in 3 panels so it sits flat when full, unlike cheap velvet dice bags (like the Skullsplitter) which is the typical "tube stock" construction of cheap dice bags with a single seam on the bottom so the bag always has to lay on one side. The stitching is well done, and the embroidered scripting and graphics are nicely executed, along the lines of dice bags that easily sell for $10+ in a game shop. The third generation dice make the biggest leaps in terms of rich, unique colors of all 3 series, pulling back on the swirl pattern madness that was a major part of the dice in the series 2 / Bag of Devouring set. The series 3 / Bag of Tricks set includes a good mix of "hazy" gems, some unique colored gem dice, one metallic swirl set, two bright fluorescent colored solids, and a great variety of some non typical solid colors and metallic sparkles. The shape and numbering on my entire set was well applied, though the finish was a bit rough on a few this is likely what the dice would look like after a session or two, and since they were bulk packaged together as advertised this really was not unexpected. I like all of the Wiz Dice sets, they are at the absolute top of the value scale for RPG / D&D dice particularly with the nice included pouch.Note that while there are 3 "series" of Wiz Dice products (Bag of Holding / Series 1, Bag of Devouring, Series 2, Bag of Tricks, Series 3) there have also been different three manufacturing generations applied to two of the 3 sets. Gen 1 molds (used in Series 1 and early Series 2 runs) had a lot of negatives related to how the numbers were represented, and were greatly improved in the Generation 2 molds used to make both Series 1 and 2 dice sets. There was a third "generation" of these dice that came about when the D6 mold broke, which led to an improvement in the way the #3 was printed on the D6. I noted that ALL of the sets I've gotten from Amazon recently have the attributes of the Generation 3 production, and I'm fairly convinced that at lot of negative reviews come from legitimately inferior earlier generation production runs while Wiz Dice worked out the kinks in their molding/inking process and dealt with some manufacturer drama early on. ALL of the series of dice that Amazon carries in the Wiz Dice line should now be produced on the generation 3 molds, and I'd put them up against any of the other guys selling dice for $7-12 per set for what you are buying from Wiz Dice for $1.50 a pop. Amazing value, and a very comprehensive selection with something for everyone at the table if you choose to buy one, or all three, "Bag of" sets from these guys.

Excellent set, terrific colors, good bag, awesome value
My kids reached the age where they started to ask about role playing games, and if they could play them. As a player from back in the late 70s and the 80s, I thought that tabletop RPGs would make for a fun family activity. My 12 year old daughter was particularly interested in the dice - the colors, shapes, and variety. After some browsing we were hooked by the Wiz Dice Bag of Tricks set. The colors and variety are terrific, and this was more than enough dice for a full group of players. What really appealed to me, though, was the reasonable price for quality dice. Many companies produce good gaming dice, but the sets typically run $7 - $12 each (with some stone/metal sets going for far more). This set carried a much more reasonable price per set of $1.50 each and came with a good storage bag too. As for the dice themselves, well, my daughter would likely focus on the appearance and creative names given to each set (Sparkle Vomit is her favorite for these reasons). As an older returning player myself, I appreciate that the resin used has a good hardness to them, well shaped edges, are easy to read quickly, and have a reasonable heft. Other older players may remember a time when those qualities were not a given, particularly in less expensive dice. Any returning player in need of quality dice would be wise to consider this or one of the other Wiz Dice sets. A host for RPG games would do well to consider having such a bag available to your guests, as community dice sometimes end up getting lost or accidentally going home with the other players.

Another Great Bag from Wiz Dice
I love these dice! I have previously bought the Bag of Devouring last year so I was familiar with Wiz Dice. First, these dice come in an amazing range of colors and overall "feel" to the them, and I did not get a single set of dice in this bag that I already owned. The dice themselves are on the smaller and lighter end compared to something like Chessex or any of Kraken's or Dice Envy's personal sets. But these are also mass-produced bulk dice and you know what you get when you buy something like this. I personally don't care about that bit and love these all the same.I did have 3 defective dice (all d8s) when they came in but that was immediately remedied by Wiz Dice sending me replacements in just a few days. Their customer service is excellent! As far as how well these dice are balanced, I only have anecdotal evidence, but they seem to work fine so far. The sets I bought last year and the sets I have now don't seem to roll particularly high or low consistently, and I've gotten what I feel is a fair amount of Nat 1s and Nat 20s through them all. For games with friends they work well enough compared to all the other dice I've bought, as I do mix them all and play with several sets at once. Once again, buy at your own risk.As far as overall appearance, these dice are beautiful. A couple of the clear sets did have a sort of smudging on them (not the frosted ones) as though they've been in a large bin with other dice, but I sort of suspect they have been so that doesn't bother me. Something I didn't notice in the images is that 3 sets are frosted, and I adore those! Specifically, it is Penumbra, Sea Glass, and Forge Embers; Penumbra is definitely a softer gray color compared to the official image and Sea Glass and Forge Embers are just as vibrant but frosted (which is a plus for me). The bag feels even sturdier than the Bag of Devouring, and save for a couple leading threads is beautiful! All in all, I would 100% recommend this set of dice, as they are fun and vary widely. If you do happen to have any missing dice or defects, you can rest assured that it will be taken care of quickly. And who doesn't love to have more dice?
