Bone meal is a great fertilizer. It helps with root growth for new plants and it is excellent for planting bulbs. You just add a little bit to the hole you dig and put the bulb, root side down, right on top and fill the hole with soil. It works like magic.I especially love this bone meal because it is organic. If you use it for edibles you will not have chemicals inside your plants which eventually end up in your body. Great product and good price.

I replanted two roses - David Austen’s that I feared I might lose with the replanting, esp. a gorgeous climbing rose and another that did not far well in its previous spot. I scattered some of this meal in the holes before planting and both roses (thank heavens) are thriving. I have scattered it on other beds and all are looking wonderful.

These worm castings are amazing. I mixed them into the soil of my flower beds and houseplants, and within a couple of weeks, I noticed fuller leaves and stronger growth. It’s completely odorless, super easy to use, and I love that it’s organic and made in the USA. A must-have for any gardener!

I would buy this again. It’s the consistency it should be and not smelly.

We won't know how effective the product is until we see how our bulbs do in spring, but if you buy this you should keep it locked tight in something the critters cannot get into. I didn't think it would appeal to animals, so I left it out until I could apply it, and something bit into the package in several places spilling it all over. Don't know if the critters would give it a 5-star review as there was quite a bit spilled on the steps. I am not sure if that is the equivalent of sending it back to the kitchen--but they definitely thought it was worth getting into.
