does more then i need.....time will tell how long it lasts....built in battery pack lasts at least a day in no load on state.....only issue....included leads would not zero on ohms test....but show zero ohms on other meters....every set of leads i have besides the included ones zero out on this meter.....i wanted a longer set then what is included so not a issue for me but it could be for you if you dont have spares

Reads very accurately (used my 6-1/2 digit Siglent benchtop for the comparison). Lots of solid features for the money, love the rechargeable battery, mine ran for 2 days before it needed recharging.

Even the capacitance test was accurate enough. Not thrilled with the probe tips as they are quite delicate and prone to bending but the device's probe sockets are standard banana plugs so you can use whatever probes you desire. The extra long ones from my old multimeter work well. The "Auto" function works OK for voltage, resistance and continuity although lower resistances tend to make the unit think you're checking continuity so it emits a tone while you're measuring. Doesn't work at all for capacitance. My only other minor complaint is that the unit doesn't remember the mode it's in between power cycles so if you're measuring things not handled by "Auto" you have to change the mode every time you power on.

I'm an electronic technician by trade and wanted a dependable meter to use around the house to check voltage levels in various things such as outlets and vehicle batteries. So far this meter has met my expectations. With my 30+ years of experience, I just don't trust the automatic setting of the meter so I manually select the feature I need and cannot comment on how well the automatic feature works. I touched the probes together in the automatic mode and the continuity beeper did work. Continuity beepers are one of my favorite features in a multimeter because it makes troubleshooting bad ground points on trailers and vehicles much easier. The beeper is plenty loud.I like the compact size of this meter and the fact that I can recharge the battery. The only downside is that a person doesn't know how many years the battery will last, and chances are the battery is not replaceable. I guess that's part of our throw away society.One minor thing I would improve on with this meter would be to offer a high visibility color or a rubber case with high visibility colors to snap this meter into. This unit blends in pretty good when you set it down so a high visibility color would help a person identify where it is. I could very easily see this meter get left under the hood of a vehicle.

Nice for its price, slow to display measurements but does so with < than .3% which was fine for my use. I do like the no touch live voltage detection, mine even detected line voltage thru a 50 amp SOO cord.For this price range it is well designed, smaller in size than expected but easy to carry in tool belt. I would recommend this product if not you're not doing precise electronics because it is no FLUKE.
