I smell ginger but it has no taste. Didn’t work for our family who loves to make ramen at home and we were looking for a healthier way of making it.

I like these bone broth packets - they make it easy to determine portion size and are good for a quick, 50-calorie, nonfat protein boost. The ramen flavor is ok, but not great - however, I find that it matches decently enough with ramen noodles (not surprisingly). The price is a little high though for what you get.

I put these in my go bag for instant emergency soup that's gluten free -no noodles but all the root benefit! I also like them in my North Potato Soup recipe Ingredients as shown: Puree: 4 cups water with two packets ramen bare bones +puree two chopped poblano peppers with two chopped onions.Add one bag carrot ,puree, add three cups great northern beans (or one bag presoaked a day) , three diced potatoes into a pressure cooker on lentils setting. Salt pepper to taste or about 2 tbsp Seasoning Salt (add at end cooling)Bon appetit!These packets are a real flavorful lifesaver for lifeless vegetables and with protein included it's a steal for just about cheap!

Love it!! BUT one of my pouches were open and the powder was all over the bag. But the rest were great!

These are really handy and I like the ease of using, but I thought the flavor was "meh" and it had a weird after taste - sort of metallic. Good to use when you want an extra protein punch, and good to take on backpacking trips.
