Boiled and discarded the water a few times before taking on holiday to remove any smell. The kettle is nice and light and it's great that the cups and spoons fit inside. I found it boilded quite quickly for a travel kettle and worked perfectly on a week's holiday abroad. The cups and spoons are a bit small as mentioned in other reviews, but we managed with them for our morning cuppa. Great little travel kettle.

Just the right size for a travel kettle, easy to use and it only takes about a minute longer to boil than my full size kettle (in the U.K., I’ve yet to use it abroad) The two cups supplied look small, but hold a surprising amount of liquid. Very pleased with this purchase.

We have a big kettle it takes and this one takes half the time to boil the same amount of water as the higher powered kettle. Light weight I could lift and pour with no strain on my neck and shoulders. It seems quite sturdy lids good and can pour without steam hitting your hands. Definitely energy efficient.

Bought for a trip to the USA. Took 25 minutes to boil over there and 5 minutes in UK. Was lightweight and the cups were fine to use. Saved us a fortune in coffees and was handy to flip on first thing and have a brew in the hotel.

The media could not be loaded. Don't routinely spend time writing reviews but felt compelled to do so on this occasion as I was so impressed with the quality and value of this travel kettle. It's very quiet and efficient. The cups and spoons fit inside the kettle for travelling along with a good few tea bags I would imagine. It looks good with smooth rounded corners and fills easily. For the price, I honestly don't think you could get better value. Disappointed that it's made in China, like most things these days, but this is the quality you would expect from British made goods, which is why I double checked as I was expecting a made in UK label!

Got this to replace my rather dated and well used travel kettle. This one is almost double the capacity, is quieter and just looks better. so far it has worked perfectly, no leaks and user friendly. It is quicker than my old one and the additional capacity is a real bonus.

Lovely little kettle. Right size for camping. Quiet but….one full kettle takes 5.30 mins to boil so would not say it boils quickly. But for two medium size cups you only need to fill it half so of course will boil the water quicker. Would have given it 5 * if it had been faster.

Great little tea set for the price.We bought for a small studio space. You can get two cups out of it. And it’s quick to boil.It comes with two plastic cups and spoons - they’re aren’t very durable but I suppose they’re not designed to be used frequently.I have dropped a star as the cable is very short, so we have to use an extension lead with it.
