A worthy wearable speaker
Portronics has been presenting interesting products in the niche wearable Bluetooth speaker market in India, in which I believe there is no real competition so far and they are the market leader.I purchased their Talk 3 (I believe their first wearable speaker) back when it originally launched and later Talk 4 again near launch and now they are out with Talk 5.Since I have been using them for a while, I will do some comparison with Talk 3,4 and also write what I would like to see in future iterations as I believe there are some very new and interesting ideas that can still be implemented on this nifty little device.COMPARISON:Weight and usage placement:Talk 5 does not have the magnetic attachment unit which I personally didn't use much in 3 and 4 as the clip is way more comfortable, so I'm considering it a plus point, also this had to be done given the speaker is a little heavier than earlier editions. The speaker is a little heavier making it not very suitable to be clipped to T-shirt near collar.Though it can be clipped very nicely to a jacket and I believe to a formal shirt, possibly in between the buttons (haven't tested there yet).I personally am clipping it in trouser pocket where it is less intrusive and I find that to be a good place given it's increased weight. So, prospective buyers should note that if they specifically want something to clip to t-shirt (near collar) then they should check out Talk 4 or 3 both are good options._________Button feel and usage:The buttons on Talk 5 are more sturdy and strongly built, they are essentially a part of the design actually and hence give a firm feeling. The placement is on the side, a change from Talk 3, 4 where they were in the middle.I find the side placement to be a lot better.CHANCE OF IMPROVEMENT: Make the volume Up/Down button on left side and power On/Off on right side or near the bottom where the led is placed in Talk 5.The on/off led can also be placed below the power button, hence lighting company logo when the device is on, I believe that will make the design more refined.Usage:The most used feature of a portable speaker is Skip Next/Previous, it's a good thing that they have now assigned this feature to Double Tap instead of long press in previous editions. That is you can now simple double press "Volume+" button to skip to next song, same goes for "Volume-" for skipping to previous song.CHANCE OF IMPROVEMENT: I personally find Skip Next/ Previous tracks to be a much more important feature, generally the volume is something we set once and keep it there and hence even if the volume + or down feature is missing it is no big deal.I believe there are two different design ideas that can be explored in this regard:1. Adding two extra buttons that are specifically dedicated to "skip next/previous", they can place the " Volume+/-" on left side (perhaps make it a rotating knob instead of buttons) and "skip next/previous" on the right side and "power On/Off" in the middle i.e. on the face of device. That will give the device a very clean look and feel.2. Keeping the number of buttons the same but giving the users the functionality to program the buttons (other then the "power On/Off" button) according to their needs via a companion app on playstore.Overall I believe the "skip next/ previous" are way too important features and while the current version does a better job by making them more accessible via double click, futher improvement is definately something that should be considered._____________More ideas/requests for future iterations:Kindly consider adding user customisation features as suggested above via a companion app.If possible adding a micro SD card support will put this device in a league of it's own as there are no Wearable speakers on Amazon India or US that I could find with that feature. There are a lot of regular portable speakers with micro SD card support but no wearable speaker that I could find, so it will be a unique selling point as card support will make it a stand alone unit. This would be specifically attractive to users who use it to play songs as that would essentially make it a standalone MP3 player, a nostalgia from the past, coupled with all the modern functionality. Also, I understand the form factor needs to be small and hence if adding a micro SD card is not possible, then adding internal storage that can be accessed via the USB C charging port would also be acceptable solution and possibly easier as that will allow portronics to keep it water and dust proof.___________In conclusion, customisability of programmable buttons via app and a storage option to allow using the device as a stand alone unit are things I believe this niche of wearable speakers is waiting for.__________As for the current iteration that is Talk 5: In my limited use so far, I believe the device is great and has seen positive improvements from previous versions and I thank portronics in their effort to continue producing something in this small niche, hopefully they will listen to the feature requests and provide us even more interesting and valuable products in coming iterations.

Not wearable
Too heavy to wear on clothes as it's heavy. Quality is good, bass is also good. But lack the purpose it's bought for.

Excellent, but battery life could be improved.
Excellent, but battery life could be improved, dies within half a day. It has a clip, and the clip even has a magnet that can be attached to fridge steel surfaces. The voice quality is amazing, the mic is also. The loudness for its size exceptional.

Sound quality is good, Poor quality clips handle.
Pros - Speaker sounds good and connection is quick.Cons -Range is limited to few metres around 6-7 meters. It starts disconnecting reconnecting over longer distance then thatSee photos metal part was actually glued to clip handle. Came out in a week of use. Glue quality is poor. Don't know if that metal part is of any use.

Speaker and MIC for taking online calls like MS or Zoom
The product is over priced heavy from portable point of view the mic is not good speaker is ok but not happy and battery back up is also decent need to charge every day dual pairing not supported there is no way to reset the Bluetooth connectivity like we generally do in Bluetooth earphones first need to disconnect from connected device then only you can connect with another device so not a very user friendly experience and sadly not returnable otherwise would have returned it. I needed a speaker with good mic for taking MS calls and there is no suitable alternative so went for it but not happy
