Honey Lipstick Tinted Lip Balm - Sheer Hydrating Lipstick for All Skin Tones - Moisturizing Lip Color, Nourishing Lip Balm with a Hint of Natural Black Cherry Tint

I have used and loved the Clinique black honey since it first came out a million years ago. This is the best dupe you could possibly find in terms of texture, shine and concentration of pigment. In terms of color, this formula has a slightly less-red, more plum hue, that I think is an improvement as it makes it makes for a more natural lip hue. I've always been the no-makeup makeup type, and this lip stuff (not a lipstick, also not a gloss or a tint) is the best way to achieve very natural, flushed, plump lip. Also, it lasts quite a while on my lips, and when it wears off, it does so in a way that doesn't make it look like paint is flaking off your lips. Very moisturizing as well. I have bought multiples. It's the stuff you want in every bag, one for the office, one at your boyfriend's place, etc.

This is a near perfect dupe for Clinique's Black Honey. It doesn't feel quite the same, with a more slick consistency both going on and when on the lips. It doesn't last an incredibly long time, but that is true of the Black Honey as well, so it isn't really a negative as much as an observation. I feel like the color is nearly identical - this seems a bit darker on first application, looking more like Black Honey would look with a layered application. However, overall if you like Black Honey and want to have several of them scattered around your home and work, this is a great, less expensive option to get a very similar look.

The color advertised matches the color provided. In the applicator, it looks more pigmented than it actually is, which was fine by me because I was going for a sheer look. Initial taste is a bit bitter, but that goes away quickly. The product lasts longer if you make sure your lips are moisturized before application. The product glides on smoothly, no stickiness at all. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the taste.

I have a very pale complexion and prefer to wear more natural-looking makeup. That said, it’s hard for me to find a lip color that not only works with my skin tone but also doesn’t make me feel like I’m wearing a clown costume because it’s just too much. Smudging and rubbing off on the teeth is another annoying struggle. With this product, there is none of that! It’s a gorgeous color- subtle but just rosy enough. It glides on so smoothly and I love that the case is long and slender- it makes application easier and gives it a very luxe sort of feel. Overall, super happy with the product.

Love these. I previously purchased the black honey and pink duo from Clinique and thought both colors weren't quite right for my skin tone (fair with pink undertones). These are both perfect for my skin tone and style. The pink is grey toned, so looked much more natural and feminine on me and the darker cherry color doesn't have as much red/pink pigment as the Clinique version, so it suits me much better as well. I think these are both cool toned. Anyway, I absolutely love them and they are way better than the Clinique version in my opinion; both in the way the color fits me and the feel/smoothness. I find these more hydrating than the Clinique brand. ❤️

I bought the combination pack of both colors. I was most excited about trying the black cherry since I'd heard everyone raving about it. At first I applied it too heavily and didn't think I liked it. I have a very light complexion so when I used it the next time I applied it very lightly and now I love it. It really is amazing how one color seems to work so well for everyone.I also really love the pink color lipstick. It's especially nice with a light make-up look. It's very natural and adds some shine and just a touch of color. I'm so pleased to get two new tubes of lip stick/lip balm in such pretty colors at such a good price.

For the price, these lip balms can’t be beat. I ordered the pink. It does exactly what I want, puts a nice tint on my lips and keeps my lips from drying out. It goes on nice and smooth. When I run out of the two I bought, I’ll buy again

Smooth feel, as long as you have a light layer of lip balm underneath - will help it last longer, if you do, actually. Neither sticky nor tacky, and no scent at all, if you're sensitive. Both Dark and Pink Honey were very flattering. Color is sheer but can be layered, even together!
