The plants were big and healthy containing at least 10 pips each. I split some of them in half and still had a nice looking cluster.I have used the dwarf mondo grass for a couple of years in shaded areas of my backyard where hardly anything will grow to control erosion. The plants filled in nicely and are doing their job. Since rain storms have gotten more severe in my area I am adding more of these plantings.I recommend these plants and will definitely buy more plants from this seller in the spring.

As can be seen in the photos, plants arrived in great condition. They were planted within two days of receiving them. The second photo shows plants being planted for a month and have established themselves/rooted in the ground. Hopefully they will spread in the next one to two years.They are well worth the money spent.

Healthy dark green plants arrived quickly. Top quality compared to others I have bought, and cheaper per pip. Unless you live near a propagate you are not likely to get a better deal online.I paid around $47.50 inclusive of shipping for the eighteen 3.5" pots, in July 2019.I sampled two different pots and counted how many pips are in each. Both had 21 pips. I also separated two of the more sparse pots into pips and got 17 & 20 each. So about 17-20 pips each pot for 18 pots would be around 300-340 pips. I separated them all out into a pip with at least two roots and got 321 pips. It took two hours. Buying these is much cheaper than buying individual pips because there is labor involved in pulling them apart. That is if you don't count your own labor.

Our local gardening shop didn't have the plants we needed in stock, so we found them through Amazon. They were delivered quickly and packaged very well. We were pleasantly surprised at how fresh and green the plants were. They've been planted for about a week and look great.

These arrived as fresh and healthy-looking as if they had been taken from the greenhouse the same day - I'm sooooo impressed with this company. Bought from them a few years ago and the quality was the same this time as before. Depending on how "instantly" you want coverage, you can make at least 4 plugs from each plug but I like to use them as they come. So pretty and daily foot traffic hasn't fazed them at all.

The flats were not 3 inch pots but 1 inch pots. A LOT less grass for the price then I’ve gotten from other vendors in the past.

I did a lot of research and this was the best value for dwarf mondo grass. The plants arrived in good condition. They have been planted for several weeks and none have died. However, they were very small. Even though this is the best price I've found, it is still very expensive for what you get.
