Amazing for postpartum care too!!!
So I have not used this in the sense that it was meant to be used which is during pregnancy for stretchmark and scar prevention BUT rather as a postpartum care to help my stretchmarks stretch down. I’m losing weight quickly which is making my stomach sag a bit with lose skin and my stretchmarks are becoming more prominent. I have applied it just as instructed and it has definitely helped my stomach stretch down better as it gives it elasticity. Obviously its not a miracle worker and won’t give me a tummy tuck effect but alone the elasticity is great. It has helped the skin shrink back a bit better thanks to this and I’m so grateful for it. Definitely an amazing product. I also love everything the brand stands for and promotes.

A lovely set
This is such a lovely set it is well presented and would make a great gift for someone who is either pregnant or is about to undergo surgery. The cream and oil are a 2 step system to help with the prevention of stretch marks and hydrate skin to aid with the elasticity. The cream is really smooth and silky to apply, and the oil just soaks nicely in, it has a slight smell but it soon dissipates. This is an expensive set at £49.00,(at the time of writing this review) but if it aids in the prevention of stretch marks ( which can be upsetting to new mums),then it is definitely worth the cost.

Overpriced
This body oil is very expensive at £49 although it does have good quality ingredients. The principle of this is that more moisturised supple skin is more stretchy and less likely to be damaged by having to expand significantly as in pregnancy. However in practice there is no real way to prevent stretch marks and at best this can help to very slightly reduce the size of stretch marks, so i would not say it is worth the high price.

I think that it is helping!
A few of my friends used this through their pregnancies and recommended it, it seemed to really help them prevent stretch marks from forming and also help the skin to bounce back quicker after they had given birth. So far it's really nice to use, sinks into the skin quickly and doesn't feel to heavy or oily. It is too soon to tell if it is effective for me but hopefully with continuous use it will help. I doubt that this will last for the entirety of the pregnancy so I will have to repurchase, so it won't be cheap however I think that the benefits of using it will justify this in the long run.As it is naturally derived it has a very natural scent which not everyone will like. I personally only notice it during application and it is mild enough for me not to mind it.

Great set and work brilliantly together.
When you are pregnant your skin is obviously going to stretch and to make that as comfortable as possible you should probably nourish and hydrate your skin. This is the perfect thing to get. The cream is used in the morning to nourish your skin and has a good texture and is absorbed quickly. The oil is used at night for deep conditioning and hydration, it smells really nice and overall I recommend it. It is clearly pricey but it lasts a long time and does a really great job.

Pai Skincare pumpkin seed edition
A lovely nourishing and lightweight body cream and body oil infused with pomegranate , rosemary extract and pumpkin seed oil giving your face and body a more radiant youthful outlook. Helps to reduce fine lines , dullness and makes your face smooth. As I never been a first time mother I don't know how well this 2 step system works for pregnant women, but at 22 this treatment helps me with acne scars I have on my face and stretch marks I have on my thigh.

Nice gift for an expectant mum
I can remember being concerned about the possibility of stretch marks when I was pregnant, because once they have appeared you are stuck with them, and my daughter was the same when she was expecting. Everything that can be done to avoid them is good, which is where this box set, doubling up with a day cream and night oil, comes in. The cream smells very faintly of putty but sinks in well and contains goodies like shea butter, pomegranate and pumpkin seed, wheatgerm oil. The oil also smells faintly unappealing, which is a shame because there is a good reason for avoiding fragrances, and the ingredients are on your side - sunflower, camellia and pumpkin seed oils all make an appearance as well as macadamia seed oil.It goes without saying, a great gift for an expectant mum, but for the price I would expect more of a wow factor in the presentation, it's so plain it looks a bit budget.

Premium price justified?
Hmmm, not so sure. My wife uses Palmers and Bio Oil which are a fraction of the price here and have proven suitably effective. There's no doubt the oil and cream in this set soften and moisturize but so do the alternatives. The oil also could smell nicer, if you are used to premium cosmetics having premium odours (e.g. Clarins) then you're out of luck here, granted it's not trading on smell but it's akin to olive oil and could be more pleasant. I would try something better value first as the price doesn't justify the product.
